Dear Peavy,

Please don't make me look stupid. I picked you in the 5th round for my fantasy team under the impression that you:

a. wouldn't harass anymore airport employees
b. would have a low WHIP and a high K/IP ratio
c. would not put full bottles of booze to your mouth in front of cameras
d. wouldn't ever return to the jewelry store in the Mira Mesa mall

Please, Jake. Focus. I will allow you, however, to continue to think that "south"side Chicago is more like Alabama than the North side. Also, Tim Flannery loves you.

PS. Please don't suck and say hi to Ozzie for me. It must be nice to have a entertaining manager. He makes Bud Black look like Ben Stein.

I want to apologize. Saying the picture was or wasn't taken after the game on April 7 would have made for a much better post.

I also want to mention his fastball topped out a little under 91 mph.

And if I'd given this more than two lines, I also would have dedicated it to Clayton Richard's start today.
